Apple iWatch release date, news and rumours | Pictures

Yes, Apple's next Big Project is iWatch

It is no rumor now that apple is working on a smart watch, New York Times reports that Apple is experimenting with wristwatch-like iOS devices that sport curved glass.
According to Bloomberg, Apple has a team of around 100 designers working on "a wristwatch-like device that may perform some of the tasks now handled by the iPhone and iPad"

Released Date:
Initially it was thought that

the iWatch’s release date would be in Q3 or Q4 of 2013
However, there has been a worrying lack of leaked information about the Apple iWatch as of yet. At most it can be delayed till Q1 2014

Curved Glass:
Its been heard that apple is working with Corning to manufacture a flexible glass for his iWatch called Willow Glass. Exactly how curved that might be is still unclear, but according to the New York Times the flexed wearable could be wrapped entirely about the wearer’s arm.

Bluetooth Supported:
There also seems to be an agreement across all technology websites that the iWatch will support Bluetooth, in order to be compatible with other Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod.

Display Size:
Apple has not said anything about the display quality or size but that hasn’t stopped the web from starting some lovely rumours. The result of such rumours seems to be that we, the internet, are expecting a 1.5-inch touchscreen watch face
